Holiday Help Program - Butler Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center

Because holidays and other significant days are when families and friends traditionally celebrate together, it is important to let those who are grieving know that they are not alone. Each November, Butler Funeral Homes invites the community to the most comprehensive holiday bereavement program in the area, in the hopes that we are able to help facilitate the process of healthy grief resolution The event is free and open to the public.

Suzanne Howell, M.A., LCPC, a national expert on grief, presents practical ways to help people get through the holidays and other significant days Topics typically include identifying coping skills to get through the holiday season, learning creative ways to integrate the memories of loved ones into new traditions and rituals, and embracing grief and the pain and fear that accompany it A memorial candle-lighting ceremony also takes place to honor loved ones.

For more information about the Holiday Help program, please call (217) 544-4646.
